About me:

I’m Kristen, a writer and editor who can’t quit newsletters. I started the Chefs+Tech newsletter in 2013 to chronicle what I thought was a shift in the San Francisco restaurant scene — connected, tech-savvy diners were heading to increasingly connected and tech-savvy restaurants led by the next generation of hospitality talent. I sold the newsletter to a travel industry media site in 2016 and spent two years leading the company’s restaurant coverage. When the company shut down the project, Expedite was born.
