About me:

I’m Kristen, a writer and editor who can’t quit newsletters. I started the Chefs+Tech newsletter in 2013 to chronicle what I thought was a shift in the San Francisco restaurant scene — connected, tech-savvy diners were heading to increasingly connected and tech-savvy restaurants led by the next generation of hospitality talent. I sold the newsletter to a travel industry media site in 2016 and spent two years leading the company’s restaurant coverage. When the company shut down the project, Expedite was born.

Let’s talk.

I’m always down to hear your feedback, ideas, criticism, and (ha!) praise. If you love this space as much as I do, please get in touch.
